i see a lot of contradictions from people who claim they care about animals.
a fish tank will be overfilled in a video and they’ll comment how bad it is but still eat chicken. those chickens are packed tightly into barns covered in their own feces and urine but thats fine.
theyll comment on how bad it is for someone to keep a wild animal because its preventing the wild animal from living their natural life. but they eat beef despite those cows not being able to live their natural lives. they are caged and milked against their will as well but thats fine of course.
im not saying that exploiting wild animals for clout online or over filling fish tanks is okay. im saying people should be consistent. why should we care about some animals but not others?
